Supervision and Reflective Practice

Providing a safe, reflective space for professionals to explore their work, wellbeing, and growth.

What Is Therapeutic Supervision?

Supervision offers a dedicated space for reflection, growth, and support — helping professionals sustain emotionally demanding work while maintaining clarity, curiosity, and compassion.

My approach to supervision is trauma-informed and relational. I create a calm, confidential environment where you can explore your professional experiences, think about the dynamics within your work, and reflect on how your own responses and values shape your practice.

Who It’s For

I offer supervision and reflective practice to:

  • Social Workers across statutory, voluntary, and independent settings.

  • Therapeutic Practitioners working with children, families, and trauma.

  • Adoption and Fostering Professionals seeking space for reflection outside of agency structures.

  • Students or newly qualified professionals developing their reflective capacity and confidence.

My Supervision Approach

Supervision is collaborative and supportive, balancing professional accountability with emotional reflection.
Together, we explore:

  • The emotional impact of your work and how to maintain regulation and wellbeing.

  • Complex case dynamics and attachment or trauma-related themes.

  • Patterns of transference, countertransference, and systemic interaction.

  • How your values, beliefs, and experiences influence your practice.

  •

Sessions draw on models such as Dyadic Developmental Practice (DDP), Integrative Attachment Family Therapy (IAFT), and Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) principles, offering a holistic framework for understanding relationships and dynamics.

  • Strengthen confidence and professional resilience.

  • Promote ethical, relationship-based decision-making.

My Professional Background

As a Registered Social Worker with over 18 years’ experience in adoption, fostering, and therapeutic support, I understand the demands of working in emotionally complex settings.

Alongside my therapeutic work, I provide reflective supervision to social workers, therapists, and practitioners — drawing on my background in leadership, adoption support management, and trauma-informed practice.
