About Me
I’m Hayley Jones BA (Hons), MASW, Registered Social Worker, and ACCPH Accredited member with over 18 years of experience supporting children, families, and professionals within adoption, fostering, and permanency services. Throughout my career, I’ve worked alongside families navigating the complex impact of trauma, loss, and attachment disruption. My approach is relationship-focused, gentle, and grounded in a deep belief that healing happens through connection — not correction. Before establishing my independent practice, I worked within Local Authority and Regional Adoption Agency teams, including several years as an Adoption Support Team Manager. This experience shaped my understanding of the lifelong impact of early experiences and the vital role of therapeutic, relational support for families raising children with trauma histories.
My Approach
At the heart of my practice is PACE — Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy — offering a framework that helps children and parents feel safe, understood, and connected. I integrate a range of therapeutic models to meet each family’s unique needs, including:
•Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (Level Two)
•Integrative Attachment Family Therapy (IAFT)
•Therapeutic Life Story Work (TLSW Certificate)
•Therapeutic Parenting Coaching (Diploma)
•Non-Violent Resistance (NVR)
•Integrative Somatic Parts Work (in training)
Every session is guided by the principles of safety, attunement, and collaboration — creating space for reflection, emotional growth, and meaningful change.
Who I Work With
I work with:
•Children and young people who have experienced trauma, loss, or disruption in early relationships.
•Parents, carers, and special guardians who want to understand and respond to their child’s emotional world.
•Professionals seeking reflective supervision, therapeutic consultation, or training to enhance trauma-informed practice.
I offer both in-person sessions from my therapy room in Hampshire and virtual sessions nationwide, ensuring accessibility for families and professionals across the UK.
My Values
•Compassion: Meeting each person where they are, without judgment.
•Curiosity: Exploring behaviours through an attachment and trauma lens.
•Connection: Believing that relationships are the foundation for change.
•Collaboration: Working alongside families and professionals as partners in understanding and growth.
These values guide every aspect of my work — creating an environment of safety, trust, and shared reflection.
